you guys know what avatars are right? 
Well, in order for you to put avatars, you need a file hosting service for that. I recommend tinypic.com which is what I use since it's fast for me
If you want to use that, that'll be great also.
you upload your picture here...
then get the link here...
Now that you have the link, go to
Profile (at the top of the page)--->Modify Profile--->Avatar Url
then click, "Modify Profile" at the bottom of the page!
